Elijah McKenzie-Jackson is a 19-year-old artist and activist who is driven by his unwavering commitment to climate justice. Blending the power of art with the strength of activism, he ignites meaningful change both online and on the streets. From the age of 15, Elijah embarked on a mission to raise awareness about the pressing climate crisis, while also advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and animal liberation. Elijah's passion has taken him to remarkable places, including a journey deep into the heart of the Amazon Rainforest, where he engaged with indigenous leaders and exchanged profound knowledge and experiences. This transformative experience became a significant source of inspiration for his art, which has been published and covered in prestigious outlets such as GQ, Business Insider, and Meta.
His advocacy has reverberated across prestigious platforms, including speaking engagements at the EU Parliament, UN Climate Conference, and House of Lords, where he shared the stage with Chief Raoni. Recognized as a leading advocate by the New York Times and hailed as the most influential Gen-Z activist by Envision Virgin Racing, Elijah has been painting outside the lines, challenging norms, and breaking taboos.Living as a full-time activist and artist, Elijah divides his time between New York City and London. He has collaborated with renowned artists like The Pusy Riots and esteemed organizations such as Greenpeace and Feminist. Elijah is the founder of the civic art collective "EMJ Earth" and the co-founder of the non-profit organization "Waic Up," which focuses on improving climate communication.
